Export a .pst file from Outlook

Your emails never leave your computer.

If your organisation does not allow apps to connect to your mailbox, export the mailbox from Outlook on your computer instead, then upload the file. Nothing is sent anywhere; the file is read in your browser.

Outlook on Windows

  1. In Outlook choose File, then Open & Export, then Import/Export.
  2. Choose Export to a file, then Outlook Data File (.pst).
  3. Select your mailbox (or one folder) and keep Include subfolders ticked.
  4. Choose where to save the file and click Finish. Leave the password empty.

Then

Open the tool, sign in with your Microsoft account (the plan belongs to the mailbox), and use Upload a mailbox file instead. Files up to 1.5 GB are supported in this version. Calendar entries, contacts and tasks inside the file are skipped and counted; only emails are converted.
